Falkvarv AB, situated on the Swedish west coast between the strait of Öresund and Gothenburg, is a shipyard characterised by high technical expertise and solid long-term experience.

The relatively moderate size of the shipyard with approximately 50 employees makes it possible to take fast decisions. The customer can have personal contact with any of Falkvarv’s employees.

A well-developed network of highly skilled sub-contractors and collaboration partners enables us to offer a high level of capacity at short notice. Falkvarv can undertake practically all shipyard work, including technically complicated commissions such as extensive engine rebuilding.

There is also capacity at the shipyard to carry out:

• All kinds of blasting, painting and surface treatment
• Electrical installations and service
• Fitting out

Special expertise and flexibility enables further expansion

The shipyard’s present focus on repairs, maintenance and rebuilding has been designed in accordance with our customers’ requirements and wishes. An area of work that is expanding at present is mobile service for ships in operation, that makes it possible to offer fast problem solutions for the customer – 24 hours a day, worldwide.

At Falkenberg, we now have the resources required, both as regards expertise and technical equipment, to carry out all the work required. Falkvarv has the capacity to drydock ships up to a length of 150 metres. Operations are being further developed with continuously higher quality and shorter holding times – key factors for continued expansion. We are able to achieve this by increased flexibility, for example, by a welldeveloped network that makes it possible for us to quickly call in staff with special expertise.

Falkvarv has been approved by all classification societies to carry out CAP-measurements.
The shipyard has also been approved to carry out shocking of main engines with epocast.

Shipyard activities in Falkenberg since 1946

Falkvarv AB in Falkenberg was established in 1987. We have continued to develop a shipyard tradition with both new construction and repairs, which has existed in the town since 1946.
